Pumpkins, Pumpkins, Pumpkins!!!

We went to the Pumpkin Patch today after we picked Landon up from school. He had a great time riding the big blow up slide, riding the ponies, and picking out the perfect pumpkin for all of us! He even picked out a cute little perfect pumpkin for Macee. Macee had a great time "people watching" one of her favorite things to do:) When we got home Landon could hardly wait to get started on carving them. He drew his own faces on two of the pumpkins and even carved the faces out. He will NOT dig out the seeds a.k.a. Yucky Junk!!! The picture below is one that Landon did (yes, it has three eyes). We did not get to finish because our carving utensils all broke, so we will get some more and finish tomorrow. Marc of course bought a huge pumpkin and carved a scary face on his. He is just a big kid when it comes to this kind of stuff. Enjoy the pictures!

First Place!!

Today was the Jog-a-thon awards assembly and Landon won first place in Pre-k and got a medal!!! He was thrilled!!!! He is over the H1N1 virus and is back to his talkative, hyper, and happy self! Macee had squash for the first time yesterday. My mom and I had the camera ready for a big reaction from her on her first bite. Surprisingly, she ate the whole jar without a blink!! No funny yucky faces at all!!! Marc and I have decieded she will probably eat anything as long as it is on a spoon. She is never excited over a bottle, but anytime she sees a spoon coming her way she opens her mouth as far as it can stretch!!!

Poor Landon

Landon was diagnosed with the Swine Flu this morning. He is on Tamiflu and is drinking lots of G2. He has not been sick in so long and is not to happy about it. It breaks my heart to see him like this. Marc took Macee to his dad's house. They are going to stay there for a little while. We did not want to take any chances with her. Landon is very upset about missing "slipper day" at school tomorrow for Red Ribbon Week. We just hope he gets better for his busy weekend coming up in a few days. We are praying for a speedy recovery!

Love this pic!!!

I took this picture after Macee had her cereal. She LOVES her cereal!!! She moans in between bites and leans her head forward towards the spoon before I can even get the spoon to her mouth!! Recently, she has started rolling over several times in a row, she can make her way across the living room! She is laughing so much lately. She is also back to sleeping through the night!!! Those stubborn two bottom teeth are still driving her crazy!!! Enjoy the pic!!!

Sharing

Landon is such a great big brother. Today he thought it would be fun for Macee to play with his Monster Trucks. Landon LOVES his monster trucks and he was being so sweet when he said "here sissy you can play with all my monster trucks", so he proceeded to pile ALL of them up right in front of her. Macee was very pleased and began chewing on the wheels. Thanks bub!!!

Jog-a-Thon

Landon's school had their annual school fundraiser. Landon earned a medal last year and that is all he could talk about for weeks. So needless to say he had to win won again this year. He knows that the person who runs the most laps gets a medal at the assembly in front of the whole school. He is so competitive!!! (I don't know where he gets that:)) So Thursday at school he ran his little heart out. After about 10 minutes he said "I am so hot and tired, but I can't stop cause I have to get a medal" He ran the whole 20 minutes and ran a total of 45 laps!!!!!! His little face was so red, I was getting a little worried at one point about him getting sick. So anyway we will have to wait a few weeks until and awards assembly to see if he won a medal or not. I keep reminding him it doesn't matter as long as he had fun, which I know he did!!

We had another great weekend!!! Started off the weekend with Landon's soccer game and his 5th goal of the season! Saturday afternoon/evening we went 'camping'! Landon has been wanting to sleep in a tent for sometime now. So we headed over to my parents house and set up a tent! We figured why take him to an actual camp ground when all he cares about is sleeping and wrestling with his daddy in the tent!! We cooked hotdogs over the fire and made smores. Macee and I stayed out until bedtime and then let the boys enjoy the tent all to themselves. :) Landon had so much fun, he is already wanting to know when our next "camping trip" is. On Sunday we went to the fair. Landon had a great time riding rides and also enjoyed Disney On Ice. What a great fall weekend!!!
